Nonprofit Salesforce consulting that leaves your team stronger

We have partnered with Salesforce since 2014 to help nonprofits implement a CRM their own teams can run. Every engagement is built around teach-back sessions, so when we finish your staff owns the system with confidence, not a support contract they cannot escape.

Why this goes wrong

The nonprofit Salesforce experts

If you are evaluating a Salesforce nonprofit consultant, you have probably seen how this can go wrong. A generalist integrator who knows the platform but not fundraising or grants. An implementation that stalled halfway, leaving your team with an org nobody fully understands. Or a system built on NPSP, which has been feature-frozen since March 2023, while the rest of the platform moves ahead.

We take a different path. Buzzbold has worked almost exclusively with mission-driven organizations since 2011, so we start from your programs, your funders, and your reporting obligations rather than from a generic template. Then we implement with you, not for you: our modular program pairs guided configuration with teach-back sessions, so the people who run your mission also run your Salesforce.

The result is a system your team owns from day one. Documented, tested, and built to keep serving you long after our engagement ends.

If you are weighing how to choose a Salesforce nonprofit consultant, three questions matter: do they know your sector, will your team be able to run the system without them, and will the same people still be there next year? Those three questions shaped how we built our practice.

In our DNA

Data migration

Donor histories, program records, and years of institutional memory moved carefully into your new system. Data migration has been our work since before NPSP v3.

The Module Program

How we implement

We have spent years turning our implementation practice into a library of roughly 60 guided modules. Each one combines automated org configuration, deployed and validated by tooling we have refined across 100+ organizations, with hands-on teach-back sessions where your team learns the system by working in it.

You choose the modules your organization needs, in an order that fits your capacity. A smaller team might start with core features and fundraising; a larger one might run a full sequence through go-live and post-launch. Either way, you see the plan, the order, and the deliverables before we begin.

And every module ends the same way: teach-back sessions where your staff drives, plus documentation your team owns, so the knowledge stays in your organization instead of walking out the door with a consultant.

Still on NPSP?

We will keep you current

Thousands of nonprofits still run on the Nonprofit Success Pack, and it has served the sector well. But NPSP has been feature-frozen since March 2023, while Salesforce continues to invest in Nonprofit Cloud. That gap will keep widening, which makes an NPSP to Nonprofit Cloud migration an opportunity to plan on your timeline rather than an emergency to react to.

We approach migration the same way we approach implementation: map what you have, keep what works, and move your data and processes to the current architecture with your team learning the new system along the way. Data migration has been our work since before NPSP v3, so donor histories, program records, and the institutional memory inside them arrive intact.

Continuity

Why nonprofits choose Buzzbold

We have been doing this work since 2011, designing data models, processes, and integrations for organizations whose missions depend on them. That heritage in information architecture and automation is why our implementations hold up: we engineer the process, not just the configuration.

We are also still here. The engineers and consultants who build your system have tenures measured in years, not project cycles. That continuity is rare in consulting and exactly what you want in a partner your CRM depends on. More than a hundred nonprofit and education organizations have trusted us with that role, backed by a highly certified team across the Salesforce platform.

And when you are ready for AI, the same foundation carries you there. Clean data and clear processes are what make practical AI work, and when the time is right we will help you add it to the Salesforce you already trust. See how we approach Agentforce →

After go-live, we stay in your corner

Implementation is the beginning, not the end. OurManaged Services plans keep your org healthy: release readiness, monitoring, data protection, and expert care, sized for your budget.
